Gamma Cas Star and Sharpless 2-185 Nebula (IC59 and IC63)![]()
The OIII filter didn't pick up any nebulosity. These are the result of different processing attempts with only SII and Ha data
present. The OIII data was mapped to the blue channel, but the result was a neon green nebula. So I got creative and arrived
at these two results. Why no OIII data? Because the nebula isn't actually an emission nebula. The ionization from the star is
reflecting on the nebula and thus revealing it.
